Description: The downloaded file is a self-extracting ZIP file. Copy this file to the directory where you installed the RISABase program, and then execute the downloaded file. The file will unzip a new RISABase executable that will overwrite your existing RISABase executable. If you are asked whether to overwrite the RISABASE.EXE file, you should answer "yes". Any existing base plate models will be unaffected.

Detail Report Printing with Contour Plots Ccrossing Page Breaks

Corrected in Version: 1.02a (beta)

Description: If you print the detail report with the bearing or stress contour sections crossing a page break (i.e. the section would start on one page and continue on the next page), you will get several pages printed with only one stress or bearing plot per page. All of the plots will print, it will just use more paper than it needs to.

Work Around: Download and use the 1.02a beta version. You can also choose not to print the stress and bearing plots with the detail report. The stress and bearing sections can also each be printed as their own reports (i.e. deselect all other sections except the bearing or the stress contours).

Errors caused by Duplicate Custom Anchor Bolt Locations

Corrected in Version: 1.02a (beta)

Description: If you use the custom anchor bolt layout and specify two anchor bolts at the same location, you will only get one of the bolts at the specified location and the other bolt will be assigned a location near the bottom right corner of the base plate. The erroneous bolt location will be shown on the base plate plot on the summary report (the coordinates will also reflect the new location).

Work Around: Don't specify the same anchor bolt location for more than one anchor bolt. The 1.02a version will display an error and not solve the base plate model if it detects this condition.
