About the Project
Sarens Transrig AS developed a lifting tower system operating 2 to 4 towers (masts) and a gross lifted load of up to 1000 metric tonnes per tower. The Sartower system operates as a so-called “Push-Up System” and the lifting operation is fully centrally operated and controlled from ground level. Two of the masts columns act as guides for lifting pistons that are stacked inside the profiles. These lifting pistons transfer all the lifted weight and the mast task is to support the pistons and lifting beam horizontally and resist the wind loading. Lifting tower masts designed to raise a gross load of 1,000 metric tons per tower to heights exceeding 100 meters (3,200 feet). Operated by Sarens Group, the Sartowers are located on the central coast of Norway.
